Race of Champions keeps India in sight

Organisers have earmarked India as a potential venue to host the Race of Champions in the future affirming Asia as an emerging market for motorsport. This year’s Race of Champions, scheduled on December 14-16, will be held in Bangkok and will feature Team India in the Nations Cup with Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandhok as its drivers. Since 1988, the Race of Champions will be leaving Europe for only the second time following its visit to Beijing in 2009. “The fact that we are returning to Asia so soon shows how fast the motorsport world is growing in the region.
