'The matter is closed' - Ferrari statement
Ferrari has released a statement to declare that it accepts the FIA's stance over Sebastian Vettel's contested yellow flag overtake in Brazil. With the Italian outfit sending the sport's governing body a letter to clarify the legality of the move, it has drawn a line under the matter after receiving a satisfactory response. The full Ferrari statement is as follows: 'The request for a clarification from the FIA, regarding Vettel’s passing move on Vergne, came about through the need to shed light on the circumstances of the move, which came out on the internet only a few days after the race.
