Hadjar battled ‘undriveable’ RB22 in Monaco GP but ‘kept pushing’

What the timing screens could not show were the issues embedded under the bodywork of his Red Bull. Nor could they reveal the constant struggle inside the cockpit as the young Frenchman wrestled a car that was gradually becoming more difficult to control with every passing lap. By the time the chequered flag fell in Monte Carlo, Hadjar had done far more than secure the second podium of his Formula 1 career. He had survived one of the toughest races of his young F1 journey.
