A 6-year-old with a steely look of determination

Pierre Gasly celebrates his 30th birthday today, the Frenchman heading into his ninth full season of Formula 1 and his third with Alpine. When he got his first taste of karting as a mere six-year-old, the little "Gas Man" from Normandy was on it from the get-go and already displayed a remarkable skill. The 2020 Italian Grand Prix winner's talent and race craft have certainly evolved over the years, along with his ambitions, but the look of steely determination in his eyes hasn't changed.
