Honda to unveil 2026 F1 engine at special event in Tokyo

Honda has announced that it will unveil its 2026 power unit in Tokyo next month, the engine that will drive the Aston Martin F1 team’s next-generation car. The event, scheduled for January 20, promises a first glimpse of the Japanese manufacturer’s full-scale return to F1 as a sole OEM partner for Aston Martin. After four years away from the sport in an official capacity – during which Honda quietly supplied engines to Red Bull – the marque is making a high-profile comeback.
