Lance Stroll ‘shouldn't be in Formula 1 anymore'

Dec.12 Ralf Schumacher has sharpened his criticism of Lance Stroll after another season in which the Canadian was comprehensively outperformed by Aston Martin teammate Fernando Alonso. Speaking to Sky Deutschland, Schumacher said Stroll's 2025 level was 'no longer acceptable' for a driver occupying a top seat. 'What he's doing is no longer acceptable to keep his seat,' the German said, referring to 27-year-old Stroll – whose billionaire father Lawrence owns the Silverstone based team. 'Honestly, when I see how well the Formula 2 winner has done, he deserves to be in a car like that a thousand times over,' he said, praising new McLaren junior Leonardo Fornaroli.
